BACKGROUND
EllisDon, the general contractor, approached Paladin Technologies to provide the security and back-end wiring for audio-visual, as well as the security solution for the new build of Seneca College’s King Campus expansion. The 200,000 sq. ft expansion included over 25 new classrooms and labs, as well as student space and learning commons.
“Paladin was very reactive to project timelines and milestones. Their team was flexible and professional, meeting every challenge with a quality solution that reflected on an overall outstanding project. I look forward to working with Paladin again.”– Enrico Scirocco, Project Manager, EllisDon
SOLUTION
Paladin Technologies provided Seneca with an integrated security solution for the hard-specified manufacturer. The access control solution, video surveillance, VMS, and emergency phones were all seamlessly integrated and able to be managed by Seneca staff.
The back-end wiring for audio-visual equipment was completed to allow the audio-visual subcontractor to connect without any difficulties.
Paladin took a proactive approach to ensure that the security scope was successfully completed to the specification. By scaling up on-site labour, Paladin was able to meet the final completion date and the King Campus Expansion opened on time, in fall 2018.
